Nan Mee first started as a Chinese bookstore in Chinatown
in 1949 catering to the Chinese settlers in Thailand. There was
a longing need among Chinese population to
get news of their motherland and keeping connected with their mother
language. Over the years, Nan Mee strives to serve as the place
to gain access to knowledge from the Chinese world and act as cultural
exchange bridge for Chinese and Thai cultures
through various cultural activities. |

In 2005, in addition to the well-liked ChareonKrung
store, Nan Mee has set up Nan Mee Chinese Books
Center at its new head office building on Sathorn Road which is conveniently
located next to BTS Surasak. This new location enables us to offer
a comfortable and peaceful environment to browse through a vast selection
of books, over 100,000 titles, to cater to various interests of readers
ranging from Chinese textbooks, dictionary, HSK preparation books,
history, cultures, travel, health and cuisine, arts, music, sports
and subscription of magazines. |
