CE Marking or the   symbol is the abbreviation of French phrase "Conformit? Europ?ene" which literaturely means "European Conformity". The CE EN-71/3 Marking on each of Silpakorn Colors packaging shows that the products have had a toxicological evaluation by an established laboratory to contain no material in sufficient quantities to be toxic or injurious to human or to cause acute or chronic health problems according to the requirements of the European Union.

Silpakorn Colors have been tested on lightfastness according to International Blue Wool Standards to ensure that they are light resistant to ultraviolet light for more than 100 years. The test involves the use of a series of eight strips of dyed blue wool fabric, with each piece being sequentially more light resistant. Both the fabric and painted colors are half covered and exposed to sunlight. After a period of time, exposed samples are compared with exposed blue wool to determine which of the eight strips it resembles most closely. If the exposed color is most similar to blue wool #8, the color receives a rating of “8” and the material would be considered light resistance for over 100 years
